Test Drive

NOTE: If the engine coolant temperature (ECT) exceeds approximately 78°C, do not start additional heater.

Activate heater.

When the heater is activated, allow it to run for a few minutes and check that:

heater starts and runs normal.
heater does not smoke abnormally.
no mechanical noise is heard from the fuel pump (FP), water pump or combustion fan.
there is no leakage from either fuel lines and terminals and coolant hoses and terminals.
coolant hoses from the heater are warm.

Stop heater.
