Cleaning New Evaporator

The evaporator shall be treated with odor remover before installing it in the car.

Place the evaporator in a basin. Treat the evaporator with the odor treatment AC. Turn the evaporator during treatment so that all external surfaces become coated with the agent. Ensure that the agent passes through the evaporator's cooling fins.

Lay the evaporator so that excess agent runs off.

Let the evaporator dry before installing it.

Install the dryer unit for the evaporator acc. to service bulletin 8-87-821 in connection with the evaporator change.

Install the evaporator.
