U= DC voltage in volts (V) UAC = AC voltage in volts (V)
Ubat = Battery voltage (V) f = Frequency in Hertz (Hz)
Ulow = Voltage approximately 0 V % duty = Duty cycle (pulse ratio) as a percentage (%)
t = Time in milliseconds (ms) - -
Terminal  Signal Type  Ignition On  Heater started  Other
#1 Timer control signal Timer active: U > 7 V
Timer not active: U < 2.75 V
-
#2 Power ground
(Measured to the battery negative terminal)
Also the common ground for the flame sensor and engine coolant temperature sensor
Ulow -
#3 30-supply (Power supply from battery) Ubat -
#4 Coolant temperature sensor signal U≈Ulow +20°C: U≈3.5 V The voltage decreases with increasing temperature
#5 Glow plug signal U≈Ulow Glow plug off: U=Ulow
Glow plugs on: Frequency≈ 1 Hz

#6 - - -
#7 - - -
#8 - - -
#9 Diagnostic lead U=1-2 V If the fault tracing instrument is connected, other values apply
#10 Signal, flame sensor U≈Ulow Flame not lit: U > 4 V
Flame lit: U < 1.5 V
-
#11 Control signal for the blower fan Relay not activated: U≈12 V
Relay activated: U less than 2.5 V

#12 - - -
#13 Fuel pump control signal Ubat Fuel pump off: f=0 Hz
Fuel pump on: f=maximum 7 Hz
The frequency increases with pump speed
#14 Water pump control signal Water pump off and power supply off: Ulow
Water pump off and power supply on: Ubat
Water pump on and power supply on: Ulow
-
#15 Power supply, combustion fan, fuel pump (FP) and water pump Power supply off: Ulow
Power supply on: Ubat
-
#16 Combustion fan control signal Combustion fan off and power supply off: Ulow
Combustion fan off and power supply on: Ubat
Fan on: Pulse ratio (% duty) > 0%
The pulse ratio (% duty) increases with fan speed.
