Measure the fuel flow from the fuel pump, 10.0 ml/min. Check the fuel supply is not interrupted or blocked. Check that the air intake and exhaust output hoses are not blocked. |
| 38 | PARAMTABLE FAILS | Control module | -Defective control module. | Erase diagnostic trouble code (DTC). Test run the heater. If the DTC recurs, replace the control module. |
| 39 | UNDER VOLTAGE | Battery voltage | -Voltage drop in wiring. -Low supply voltage in the car. |
Check the connectors for contact resistance. Check the battery/charging circuit. |
| 40 | OVER VOLTAGE | Battery voltage | -Fault in charging circuit. -Battery charger with too high charge voltage. |
Check the system voltage and the generator. |
| 41 | WATERTEMP O-C | Coolant temperature sensor | -Open-circuit in the engine coolant temperature sensor circuit. -Defective coolant temperature sensor. |
Check for an open-circuit in the sensor wiring. Check the resistance in the sensor, see earlier Service Bulletin. |
