DTC Table For Manual Climate Control Unit

NOTE: Failure to do this can damage the control module. Turn ignition OFF when connecting or disconnecting connectors.
Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC)  Remarks 
MCC 1-1-1 No DTC set by on-board diagnostic (OBD) system
MCC 2-3-1 Damper Motor Position Sensor air distribution, signal too high
MCC 2-3-2 Damper Motor Position Sensor air distribution, signal too low
MCC 2-3-5 Damper Motor Position Sensor recirculation, signal too high
MCC 2-3-6 Damper Motor Position Sensor recirculation, signal too low
MCC 2-4-1 Air distribution selector, faulty signal
MCC 3-4-2 Damper motor air distribution, active too long
MCC 3-5-1 Damper motor recirculation, active too long
MCC 5-1-1 Damper motor self-adjustment, faulty
MCC 5-1-2 Battery voltage, signal too low

The exception is diagnostic trouble code (DTC) MCC 1-1-1 for certain control modules.

NOTE: On the MCC/STANDARD control modules introduced at production start-up of the S70/V70/C70 series must fault-tracing for MCC 3-4-2 be carried out if  the REC button orange indicator LED flashes once at ignition on (diagnostic trouble code (DTC) stored) but  the control module flashes out diagnostic trouble code (DTC) 1-1-1. This applies to control modules marked "S2", "S3" or "S4". See illustration.
