Checking and adjusting: Adjustment

Remove:

Dipstick pipe bracket
Gear position sensor screws

Rotate the gear position sensor so that the mark on the switch aligns with the groove on the tool. Tighten sensor screws.

Tighten to 25 Nm .

Reinstall bracket for dipstick pipe.

Make sure that the O-ring on the pipe is in place. Tighten to 25 Nm .

Install:

Lever on gear shift linkage rod. Tighten to 16 Nm .
Transmission cable on lever with a washer and retaining clip. Apply a little grease 1161241-3 to lever pin.

Install:

Air intake manifold
The battery shelf
Battery. Connect cables
