Checking remote control function: Verification

HINT: After carrying out the repair, check that the fault has been remedied as follows:

Ignition off.
Reconnect connectors, reinstall components.
Ignition on.
Establish communication with the RTI system by reading diagnostic trouble codes (DTC) for example. The display should fold up.
Interrupt communication with RTI control module.
Do not switch off ignition.
Try to switch RTI system off with remote control.

Is the remote control OK?

YES
OKAY: Troubleshooting has been completed.
NO
