Checking Ground Terminals (1998-2002): Checking: Verification

Ignition off.
Module disconnected.
Switch off all equipment that takes power from the battery (courtesy lighting, radio etc.).
For control module connect an ohmmeter between the battery negative terminal and the breakout box #38 (#B8).

For the CD-ROM player connect an ohmmeter between the battery negative terminal and the breakout box #45 (#15).

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0.

OK
OKAY: Troubleshooting has been completed.
NOT OK
