Checking communication cable to data link connector (DLC)

Ignition off.
Disconnect Volvo Scan Tool (ST) from data link connector (DLC).
Connect breakout box 9813190 according to Connecting the breakout box .
Connect an ohmmeter between data link connector (DLC) terminal 7 and breakout box terminal #49(#3).

The ohmmeter should read approximately 0 Ω.

Ignition on.
Disconnect Volvo Scan Tool (ST) from data link connector (DLC).
Connect a voltmeter between data link connector (DLC) terminal 7 and ground.

The voltmeter should read approximately 9-11 V.
