Connecting the Volvo Scan Tool (ST)

Ignition OFF.
Install memory cassette.
Connect Volvo Scan Tool (ST) to data link connector (DLC) using adapter.
Ignition ON.
Turn on power to the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
Select language, car and function group.
Select required system.
Select LEFT or RIGHT SEAT.
Select DIAGNOS TEST to read out and erase diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs), counters and frozen values and for activating components/functions.
Select MONITOR TEST and SCROLLING LIST to read off the control module input and output signals.
Select CM ID to read off the part number of the control module.
