Breakout box connection

HINT: The breakout box can be connected to the control module, CD player and TMC/FM receiver.
- Ignition off
- Release the control module following Replacing the control module, old system .
- Release the CD player following Replacing, CD-ROM player .
- Release the TMC receiver following Replacing TMC receiver .
- Release the FM receiver following Replacing the FM receiver .
- Release the screen following Replacing the display .
- Disconnect the module.
- Check the module connectors to ensure that the male and female pins are whole and properly seated (cannot be pressed in). Check that the cables to the female pins are properly connected on the pins.
- Especially check the pins that relate to the diagnostic trouble code/symptom; see Signal specification Road Traffic Information (RTI) .
