Calibration of fuel level for low fuel level warning lamp. The low fuel level warning lamp should light when there approximately 8 liters of fuel left in the fuel tank. If the customer reports that this lamp is lighting at some other fuel level, the level can be calibrated using this function. The following liter options can be programmed: -5, -4, -3, -2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 lit The following gallon options can be programmed: -2, -1.5, -1, -0.5, 0, 0.5, 1, 1.5 and 2 gal Positive values are used when the warning lamp lights for level too high. Negative values are used when the warning lamp lights for level too low. 0 resets previous calibration. Calibration affects the attenuated fuel level and trip computer function "Range to empty fuel tank". |
