Adjusting Side Window

Raise the window lift mechanism fully.

Close the door carefully.

Ensure that the rear side windows are in the highest position.

Check the position of the front side window against the weatherstrip and the distance to the rear side window. Note any discrepancies.

Lower the window lift mechanism fully.

Mark out the position of the front side window in the carriages.

Raise the window lift mechanism 10 cm.

Slacken off the screws using the Torx grip. Slacken off only so much that the window can be adjusted.

NOTE:

Turn clockwise to slacken off the screws.

Adjust the window according to the marking made when checking the deviating position of the window.

Tighten the screws. Tighten to 9 Nm.

NOTE:

Turn counter-clockwise to tighten the screws.

CAUTION:

Ensure that the clearance of 1 mm between the lift mechanism and the carriage is maintained.

Raise the window lift mechanism fully.

Close the door carefully.

Check the position of the window.

Repeat the adjustment if the position is incorrect.
