Adjusting The Rear Side Window Laterally

Check that the distance between the window and the body flange is 7.5 - 8.5 mm when the weatherstrip is removed.

Then adjust the window so that it lies the same way along the entire weatherstrip for the B-post.

Check for leaks between the front and the rear side windows. Adjust the front side window at the upper cassette mounting.

Check that the difference in height between the front and the rear side windows is a maximum of 1 mm.

Check the lateral measurement (A) between the weatherstrip for the rear side window and the front side window, as illustrated. To obtain the measurement (A), measure 50 mm down from the upper edge of the rear side window (B). The measurement (A) must be at most 1.5 mm.

Move the windows up and down at the same time. Check that the windows do not catch. Shearing must not occur.

If necessary, adjust the tilt of the rear side window using the lower adjustment screws on the cassette.
