Master Cylinder, Replacement: Installing

Install:

complete master cylinder with brake fluid reservoir and tighten nuts.
brake pipe, but do not tighten.

NOTE: Do not use soap solution for lubricating hoses. Use brake fluid or glycerine.

Install:
hoses on brake fluid reservoir.
connector on brake fluid level sensor.
battery negative lead.

Fill brake fluid reservoir completely.
Tighten pipe nipples to 14 Nm (10 ft. lb) if it seems brake fluid is escaping.
Bleed braking system as per Bleeding Brakes . Then continue as per instructions below.
Bleed clutch in manual models.
