Removing the Air Cleaner (ACL)

Remove the intake hose between the front plate and the air cleaner.

Remove the cover over the Engine Control Module (ECM) and pull it straight up.

NOTE: Do not touch the control module terminal pins with your fingers. Static electricity may damage components in the control module.

Unplug the connector from the Engine Control Module (ECM). Press in the catch and move the lock brace up.

Unplug the connector from the mass air flow sensor. Detach the hose clip from the mass air flow sensor.

Unhook the solenoid valve from the air cleaner housing

Lift up the air cleaner and move aside the fresh air hose.
