Wiring repair kit p/n 9814235 is used to carry out repairs on the cable harness. Cables can be replaced or spliced, and cable terminals can be replaced on cables.

There are terminal removal tools and crimp tools included in the kit as well as boxes with assorted cable terminals, seals and insulated butt connectors. There is an order form in the kit with printed part numbers for the consumables and spare parts included in the kit.

CAUTION:

Important For replacement of cable terminals in housings always use the correct Volvo original spare parts. When removing, terminal crimping and installing cable terminals, always follow the operating procedures described.

Assorted cable terminals

The cable terminals in the boxes offer a range of the most frequently used cable terminals, seals, plugs and butt connectors.

There is a location table with pictures and part numbers on the inside of the lid of the boxes.

Other supplementary kits can be added as they are available.

Moisture proof cable terminals

These are ready-pressed cable terminals fitted on the cable and with a molded plastic sheath, available as a complete spare part.
