SRS deployment information

If an SRS equipped vehicle is on fire: SRS components are designed to deploy under conditions of excessive heat. The system is designed to deploy the SRS components when the temperature in the gas generator reaches 230 °C (450 °F). It should be noted that it takes a serious fire to deploy the SRS components, which means that the SRS components will not deploy in all types of fire.
