Connecting the breakout box to the combined instrument panel

Ignition off.
Expose combined instrument panel according to Replacing the driver information control unit .
Disconnect combined instrument panel.
Check that the male and female terminals in the combined instrument panel and cable harness connectors are intact and secure and that the wiring to the female terminals is properly attached to the terminal.
Pay particular attention to the terminals related to the diagnostic trouble code (DTC)/symptom.
Connect adapter 9813194 to combined instrument panel connectors A and B and connect the breakout box 9813190 to the adapter.
