Checking for contact resistance and oxidation

Check the control module and TMC/FM receiver connectors for contact resistance and oxidation and remedy according to Contact resistance and oxidation .

Ignition on.

Use System test function to test if the TMC/FM receiver is OK. For more information about the System test, see System Test . The test can take up to approximately 6 seconds at longest.

Other information: 

• To access/replace the control module, see Replacing the control module, old system .
• To access/replace the TMC receiver, see Replacing TMC receiver .
• To access/replace the FM receiver, see Replacing the FM receiver .

Check if the TMC/FM receiver is OK.

If the FM receiver is now OK, the fault was due to a bad connection in the connectors.

Is the TMC/FM receiver OK? 

• YES 

  OKAY:  Troubleshooting has been completed.

• NO
