Checking cables

Ignition off.
Disconnect siren connector
Check fuse 6.

Check the cable between control module #A22 and siren #3 for a short-circuit to ground according to Short-circuit to ground, permanent faults , short-circuit to supply voltage according to Short-circuit to supply voltage. Permanent faults and for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults . Also check whether the cable is too close to a source of interference. Check the cable between fuse 6 and siren #4 for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults Check the cable between siren #6 and ground for an open-circuit according to Open-circuit, permanent faults

Other information:
- The voltage between siren connector #4 and ground should be battery voltage.

Remedy as necessary.
