Removing the gear-shift position sensor: Removal

Remove:

Gear cable from the lever
The lever
The nut, lock washer and rubber seal from the gear-shift position sensor.

Loosen the bracket for the dipstick pipe.

Remove the two screws from the gear position sensor.

Carefully lift the sensor off the gear shift linkage rod.
