Remove:

The splash guard under the engine
Bearing cap for the drive shaft pilot bearing.

Loosen the drive shaft.

Press the inner part of the shaft and at the same time fold out the spring strut. Let the end of the drive shaft rest on the pipe running from the steering gear.
