Adaptation of the throttle position (TP) signal

The throttle position (TP) sensor signal must be adapted whenever a new control module is installed. Carry out the following:

Block all four wheels
Start engine

NOTE:

Apply parking brake and press down hard on the brake pedal with left foot throughout this procedure.

Gear selector to position D

Fully depress the accelerator pedal (AP) so that the kickdown switch (KD) is activated

Keep the accelerator pedal (AP) fully depressed for max. 5 seconds
Release the accelerator pedal (AP) and move the gearshift selector to position P.

The throttle position (TP) sensor signal is now adapted to the new transmission control module (TCM).
