Communication problems, ST disconnected

Communication has been interrupted for one of the following reasons:

The cable is disconnected
The Volvo Scan Tool (ST) is disconnected
Communication problems in the VIDA application

Check that the adapter is correctly connected to the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
Check that the VIDA cable is correctly connected to the adapter junction box and VIDA cart.
Check that the power cable is correctly connected to the battery and Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
Ensure that VIDA memory cassette is inserted into the Volvo Scan Tool (ST).
Check that the junction box switch is on.
Try to establish communication again or exit reading off diagnostic trouble codes (DTCs).

Depending on the communication fault, select one of the following alternatives.

Try again.

Fault-trace the communication problems.
