Checking the air conditioning (A/C) compressor signal

• Start the engine and idle it.
• Air conditioning (A/C) switch on.
• Blower fan on.

  Select Volvo Scan Tool (ST) to read off the status of the air conditioning (A/C) compressor while the compressor is running.

Is the compressor on? 

• YES 

  Refer to Cleaning idle air control (IAC) valve connector 

• NO 

  Refer to Connecting breakout box (connector B)
