Fuel pressure measurement
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2002 Volvo C70, 2001 Volvo C70, 2000 Volvo C70, 1999 Volvo C70, and 1998 Volvo C70. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
Operations:
- Start engine.
- Drive the car and read off fuel pressure while the car is being driven. The fuel pressure should be: 210-31 0 kPa for aspirating engines 210-380 kPa for Turbo engines
CAUTION:
NOTE. At constant engine loads the fuel pressure should be stable. At acceleration or during engine braking the fuel pressure may vary between the maximum and minimum readings.
