Install the steering column

Lubricate with low-temperature grease 1161417-9 (30 grams) on the splines. Counterhold on the steering shaft. Guide the steering column into the bearing. Be careful so that the bearing's lock ring does not move out of position.
Center the steering column in relation to the instrument panel's slot.
Install the washers. (On early version: fold back the support plates). Install the nuts. Tighten with 25 Nm .
Press the cable harness into place under the steering column.
