Replacing the Center Console

Removal

Switch off ignition. Disconnect the battery negative lead

Grasp both the boot and the panel. Pull it straight out to the left so that the catches release.

Remover the cover in the center console locker.

Remove the screws.

Separate the two connectors on the bracket.

Shift the gear selector to position D.

Apply the parking brake.

Pull up the rear edge of the center console. Pull it backward out of the dashboard.

Lift out the center console.

Installation

Shift the gear selector to position D.

Ensure that the parking brake is applied.

Install the center console.

Ensure that both the holders on the inside of the center console engage in the side panels on the dashboard.

Install and tighten the screws.

Connect the connectors.

Press the panel into the center console.

Install the cover.
