Removing backrest

NOTE: To carry out this work a zip fastener is required. This is not included in the upholstery but is ordered separately. 6 mm zip fastener part number: 3533976 is used and in some cases zip fastener 4 mm, part number: 9459316

Fold up the cushion.

Remove:

the side cushion. See Side cushion . Disconnect the connector by the hinge
screw mounting by the hinge
the screw for the seatbelt end mounting.

Remove the strap(s) for the fold-down mechanism and seat belt buckles (hooked onto the lower edge of the backrest).

Lift out the backrest.
