Remove the Drive Shaft From the Transmission

NOTE: Blow clean thoroughly around the drive shaft.

Remove the cover from the drive shaft pilot bearing.

Remove the drive shaft by pulling it straight out from the transmission. Do not pull on the outer constant velocity joint housing.

NOTE: Do not damage the seal.

Wipe up any spilled oil.
