Install Adapter And Rubber Seal

Remove protective socket on end of pipe before installing adapter there.
Always use a new quick-release connector with rubber seal.
Lubricate rubber seal with a drop brake fluid to facilitate installation.
Check that striker plate is located in adapter.
Then secure adapter so that striker plate clicks into place.
Install rubber seal in bell housing as shown.
Ensure that it seals all the way round.

If clutch slave cylinder alone needs to be replaced, reinstall the transmission.
