Cigarette lighter and electrical socket

Ignition off
Remove the dashboard environment panel / electronic climate control module. See Dashboard environment panel (including climate control module (CCM)), replacing
Remove the cigarette lighter socket
Disconnect the connectors from the dashboard environment panel / electronic climate control (ECC) control module
Tension the lower catch using a small screwdriver. Press out the lighter sleeve so that the catch releases. Maintain the pressure so that the lighter sleeve does not jump back in.
Tension the upper catch. Press out the lighter sleeve.
