Trailing Arm: Removal

Raise the car. Remove the hub cap. Remove the wheel nuts and the wheel.
Remove the clamp for the parking brake cable from the trailing arm. Remove the clamp and brake hose from the mounting. Without disconnecting brake hose, remove the 2 mounting screws and the brake caliper. Hang it up. Do NOT depress the brake pedal while the brake caliper is removed.
Remove the hub cap, center nut, whole hub and the brake disc, 4 screws, protective panel, support and ABS sensor, and ABS line from the trailing arm. See Fig 1.

Support the lower control arm. Remove the 2 screws (C) for the mounting for the upper and lower control arm. Remove the control arm screws (B) for toe-in adjustment from the trailing arm. Remove the screw (A) on the front mounting for the trailing arm. See Fig 2. Remove the trailing arm.
