Trailing Arm: Removal
- Raise the car. Remove the hub cap. Remove the wheel nuts and the wheel.
- Remove the clamp for the parking brake cable from the trailing arm. Remove the clamp and brake hose from the mounting. Without disconnecting brake hose, remove the 2 mounting screws and the brake caliper. Hang it up. Do NOT depress the brake pedal while the brake caliper is removed.
- Remove the hub cap, center nut, whole hub and the brake disc, 4 screws, protective panel, support and ABS sensor, and ABS line from the trailing arm. See Fig 1.

- Support the lower control arm. Remove the 2 screws (C) for the mounting for the upper and lower control arm. Remove the control arm screws (B) for toe-in adjustment from the trailing arm. Remove the screw (A) on the front mounting for the trailing arm. See Fig 2. Remove the trailing arm.
