Removing bevel gear

NOTE:

Only applies to vehicles with four-wheel drive, AWD

Remove the five screws for the bevel gear.

Pull the bevel gear straight out from the transmission.

Hang the bevel gear from, for example, an oil pipe for the turbocharger (TC) or similar.
