Removing the drive shaft from the transmission

Remove the drive shaft from the transmission. Use: 9997160 . Tap in the tool between the drive shaft and the transmission to loosen the drive shaft.

NOTE:

Pull the universal joint housing, not the drive shaft's, when removing the drive shaft. There is no axial stops.

NOTE:

Do not damage the drive shaft seal.
