Installing The Lifting Beam And Lifting Hook On The Engine

Lifting hook 9995638 consists of two sections.

Position the (straight) lifting hook between the valve cover and the intake manifold so that it engages in the exhaust manifold.

Position the other lifting hook 9995638 on the engine lifting lug. Assemble the tools at the same time.

Position lifting beam 9995716 above the engine.

Connect lifting hook 9995460 under the two part lifting hook. Tighten to light contact.

Raise the car
