Checking/Transferring The Components On The Transmission

Check that the mating surfaces of the transmission are completely clean.

Lubricate the holes (for the guide sleeves) on the transmission and engine. Use a small amount of grease.

If the transmission is replaced by a new one, transfer components to the new transmission. See: Transmission, Transferring Components .
