Carrier Plate, Replacing: Removal

Preparatory work 

Remove the transmission. See Transmission, Removing .

Removing the carrier plate 

Remove the engine speed (RPM) sensor with the bracket. Place it to one side.

Block the carrier plate using gear sector 9995112 .

Remove: 

• all screws
• the carrier plate
• gear sector 9995112 .

Check the crankshaft seal for leakage.

To replace the crankshaft seal, refer to the car model and year.
