Removing the spring
Fig 1: Removing/Installing Fixing Nut On Shock Absorber Using Socket And A Torx-Wrench As A Counter Hold
Relieve the spring seat. Use hydraulic piston: 9512911 with claw: 9512914 .
Remove:
- the fixing nut on the shock absorber. Use socket: 9995469 and a 3/8" Torx-wrench as a counterhold.
- the spring seat
- the spring
- the rubber bump stop and gaiter.
Check that the shock absorber support plate (1), the spring seat (2) and the rubber bump stop with boot (3) are undamaged. Replace if necessary.
