Installing the lower steering shaft

Clean the steering gear pinion from any rust and lubricate.

Install: 

• the lower steering shaft
• the screw of the lower steering shaft from within the vehicle.
  NOTE:

  Ensure that the screw is seated in its groove on the steering gear. Use a new screw. Finger tighten.
