Solenoid, steering gear, replacement: Removal

Lift up the car and remove the front wheel on the left side.

Remove: 

• protective cover under engine (applies to some versions)
• protection over the drive axle for better access (applies to some versions)

Place a container under the steering gear to collect the oil.

Remove: 

• the connector
• the screws, 2 pcs., for the solenoid
• the solenoid.
