Power steering pump, replacing: Installation: Finishing

WARNING:

Avoid skin contact with the oil.

NOTE:

Use Volvo power steering fluid, P/N 1161529 to ensure the correct oil quality.

Fill the servo reservoir with oil. Bleed the system

Repeatedly turn the steering wheel to full lock. Top up the oil if necessary

Apply the handbrake. Start the engine

A Turn the steering wheel slowly to the right, keep it at the end position for two seconds.
B Turn the steering wheel slowly to the left, keep it at the end position for two seconds.

Repeat steps A and B ten times.
