Removing the control module

Raise the seat to its highest position.

For first generation power seats:

Remove the seat from the car. See Lifting seats in and out .

For second generation power seats:

Remove the seat from the car. See Removing power seats, tilting .

Remove the key.

NOTE:

The key must be removed to ensure that the ignition is not switched on by mistake.

Wait 1 minute before starting work.

Remove the two screws.

Disconnect the connector.

Remove the control module.
