Remove the SIPS bag and seat heater connectors and wiring.

Release the wiring from the backrest.

Fold up the upholstery.

Remove:

Pull straight out.

Angle the rail and the seat base so that they come apart.

Angle and turn the gas strut.

Replace the seat base.

Install:

In reverse order.

NOTE:

Do not tighten the cross stay screwed joint before the seat has been installed in the car.

Otherwise there is a risk that the seat will not be straight and the inside of the seat will be stressed.
