Installing the mechanical cable

Install the spring and a new wire.

Position the seat above the frame.

Install the screw (2) and tighten.

Remove the self-tapping screw (1) and at the same time lightly pull the wire so that the spring is correctly located.

Install: 

• the wire on the reel according to the earlier note.
• the wire for the mounting in the backrest
• the reel in the mounting.

Clamp together the mounting for the wire reel.

Check the function.

Install: 

• the backrest upholstery against the plastic panel
• the plastic panel against the seat
• the seat cushion upholstery
• the booster cushion. See Replacing the center armrest or integrated child seat .
