Replacing Seat Belt Buckles

Removing front seat belt buckle 

Remove: 

• the seat from the car. See Lifting the Front Seats In And Out . Disconnect the connector from the seat frame.
• the tie straps (x2) for the cable harness
• screw (1)
• the seat belt buckle.

Removing rear seat belt buckles

• the rear seat cushion.

• the screw for the seat belt buckle.

Installing the front seat belt buckle 

Install: 

• the screw for the seat belt buckle. Tighten to 48 Nm 
• the tie straps (x2) for the cable harness
• the connector in the seat frame
• the seat in the car. See Lifting the Front Seats In And Out

Installing rear seat belt buckles 

• screw for the seat belt buckle. Tighten to 48 Nm 
• the backrest.
