Removing Inflatable Curtains

NOTE: The hose clamp must not be opened under any circumstances. If the clamp is opened, it will not be possible to guarantee the safety of the joint. Leakage may result which would compromise the function.

Remove:

The headlining. See Headlining, Replacing .

Remove:

the connector. See Igniter Wire Connector .

Remove:

clips G and D
the clips at the top of the A-post
the screw (3) and unhook the IC (inflatable curtain).

(6 and 7 are removed when removing the grab handle)

Remove:

screws 1, 2 and 8. Lift out the inflatable curtain.

(4 and 5 are removed when removing the grab handle)
