Work in the passenger compartment

Remove the dashboard and the center console. See Dashboard, replacing .

Protect the floor and sills.

Remove: 

Detach the steering column / steering shaft but leave it hanging in place. See Steering column, replacing .

Pull the member and the climate control unit backwards a little.

Remove:

Hold up the member and the cable duct on the passenger side. Remove the climate control unit on the passenger side.

NOTE:

Two people are required for this job.
