Removing the mounting screws from the gearbox/starter motor

Fold the connectors, cable harness and cable conduit out of the way of the engine / gearbox.

Remove: 

• the 3 screws for the gearbox / engine
• the 2 screws for the starter motor One screw is located under the starter motor
• the ignition setting sender. Remove it from the mounting.
